The Kizh Nation is historically known as Kichirenos, "people of the willow houses." They were the people who canoed out to meet Juan Rodriquez Cabrillo, upon his arrival off the shores of San Pedro in 1542. Come here more about their history.

Join us on October 17th at 7:00.  The 67-year-old Highland Theatre, the last of a group of 1920s theaters that once formed the heart of Highland Park, has been designated a historic-cultural monument by the Los Angeles Cultural Heritage Commission.
